The article is no BS. It's true, I just proved it.
Panicked from a drastic weight increase in just a 2-week vacation, I over reacted. I then made a vow not to eat lunch, only some apples in daytime and a bit of dinner. I successfully did it… for one day. I couldn't stand to be in this mode for more than a day. I felt so weak!
The next morning I saw my weight was actually gained 200gr. (was on a digital scale, so you can see in gram unit, hehe).
I was so disappointed that of all the effort I did not reduce a bit, but actually gained a little. So I thought, "okay start from today I'll have 3 meals per day but smaller portion, more veggies and fruits.. 2 snacks in between so I'm not hungry.. not too much sugar, not too much wheat, carbs, and fatty food, .. just moderate". I did this for one week to see, and yessss… I reduced 1.5kg, yippey!
So ladies, don't starve yourself, just watch your intake a bit.
