Now that I'm back in Luanda, maybe hard for you to believe, but I don't have any objection anymore with this 257dB music (yes, that loud) from my lovely neighbour that has parties, literally every weekend nowadays, Sat night AND Sun night (it's getting worse). Now that it's Friday night, I even am dancing to it in my room, well, before this posting is made. Or maybe again after. It's good music anyway. I mean it.
Maybe sometime later I will just go outside and climb up to the rooftop of my apartment, record one of these parties in a videocam and put it in my blog so that my mother will understand how much I am having fun in Angola, every weekend.
Hehe, no, I am not being bitter. I am actually wishing you a good & happy weekend. For those of you who just stay at home, just embrace your precious quiet moment. As for me, I am going to continue with dancing in my room, I guess. Dance the night away they call it.. I have free music!
UPDATE (FROM THE DAY AFTER):
Last night I could finally manage to get to sleep under this noise by 4am, and the music still went on by then. Don't really know what time they really finished, what I know is that today my eyes are so puffy! Didn't manage to go to salon for manicure (i missed the appointment), could only do rush shopping since the supermarket here is closed by 2pm. Pfffff....
And to make matters worse, there is no way I could go for a nice reflexology or massage for my tired back from lack of sleep. In Jakarta you can just go basically anywhere for such services, cheap price, chic relaxing atmosphere, full smile and all that. So, literally the first time ever in my life, I finally suffer from homesick.
